i saw comments below similar like this.

first of all, this is an opera, which means it has plot, characters and actions. the reason why he isn't happy because the character is escaping from been killed by the king. This is a part of ACTING!

second, every culture has its own music and been changing over time. For ppl 2 hundred years ago, all ass kickin music you hear today would all be like "shit in a swimming pool".

in short, it's fine you dont like it. but please be civilized.

Oh boy, how did this little boy master the world's most stylised, highly discipline n difficult performance art that requires years of rigorous trainining jus to attain a decent standard let alone master it? He performs with so much ease like the art is in his blood and second nature to him. Who knows if he is not a reincarnation of some great former Peking opera master in the past.
