Thanks for the video. Also lived in Wakayamashi for 1 year from 4/2005~3/2006. My wife taught for a local language school, I taught English for ECC Junior. Two of our kids went to Kinokawa Junior High Schol. The castle was one of our favourite spots in the city. I also slept on the railway platform one night when the train (on the way back from the candle festival at Koyasan that you mentioned) wouldn't take me back to Wakayama! Thank goodness it was summer. Thanks for the memories.
I lived in Wakayama a few years ago so I really enjoyed your videos. Natsukashii! I lived more towards the beach - Wakaura Higashi and taught in a private school. Hope to see more videos in the future - nice job.

I live in Wakayama.
The castle tower in Wakayama Castle was burnt down due to the WWⅡ.
So it was not registered to the cultural heritage in Japan...
