Peavey Profex II Demo (Part 3: Clean Patches, Crazy Patches)

This video is a quick demo of the Clean and Weird patches on the Peavey Profex II.


HISTORY:

The Profex were rack mounted multi effecs units and went on sale about 1990. They retailed around the $600 (USD) mark I think.

Even today, after 20 years, they still sound good. The late great Shawn Lane was a user right up until he died.

@tractorKing :¬D It would sound even better at louder volumes. The amp I was using needs to really be louder to get it as good as it could be. I think part of the warmth comes from the two 6L6 tubes t uses.

I got my Profex from Ebay. Someone was selling one very close to me, so I bought it. Sometimes people sell them on Ebay, sometimes they sell them on internet forums.

There are quite a few posts on them at "Steel Guitar Forum".

And of course on Peavey's forum.

Sometimes people will sell them there.

I can try and do a patch with the very very very fat chorus you mention.
