snared and chained
chained up
tied down
fall in
and the current is pulling me
and just as i fall
as i begin to sink
i awake

i.m trying to hold my breath
but it slips out
and my mind is frozen by the water
as it closes in
as my breath makes it.s escape

and i can see why
everyone else has left
but i know that if i stay
i.ll be safe
and i hope
you can know
you can understand
why i go

and although it tries so hard
i.ll still be fine
but the dream world has to go
