maybe a 8 string bass , half fretted and half fretless is the way to go! tuned eadg and eadg or maybe adgc .

@basementbass Nice! I can't wait to get it. Maybe I'll experiment different kinds of tunings when I will have to change the strings. Is the string spacing too wide for someone used to a regular 6 strings Ibanez bass?

@nephilymbass1 Unfortunately it is still on order. I should get it by the end of the month or the beginning of january. There a not a lot of those basses coming to canada. I don't know if I will string it in BEADGC because I already use a 6 strings bass (SR506), and if I am to use two different basses, I want them to have two different uses. (Sorry if my english is not accurate)
