Are dating sites okay for Today's Christian Singles to find their mates?

What exactly is a Christian Dating site? If you have the money ANYONE can enroll, so what distinguishes one from another?

Is it okay for a women to go and FIND her mate on a dating site? How does this work into HE that FINDETH a wife...?

@Kirkatron1 That could be another way of being unequally yoked also between believers if the two don't know how to handle the different levels. For example: A woman who is mature in the Lord being with a man who is just coming into the faith.

I don't think there's anything wrong with finding your potential mate online. Just first pray that God will guide you by the spirit and based on his word. Eventually you will have to meet the person, and the bible says thay you will know them by their fruits...

If you sit and wait for a christian man to walk through the church doors then you are a fool. You need to get out there and meet some people, get on a christian dating site. Why on earth do you think they were made? Do you think that God hasn't blessed these sites? God would rather people date christians than non christians.

You can most definitely be unevenly yoked and share be a believer. Example. Calvinist in no way shape should yoke them with an Armenian. Or if you’re a Baptist don’t go yoke yourself with a charismatic, Pentecostal

interesting, I never thought about it, but as you ask, unfortunately it is not possible to know someone is a Christian unless they bare the fruits of the Spirit, how does one examine a person on a site. It seemed to be filled with dangers. ones persona cannot truely be examined via the pc, since one can create an illusion of what one wants the other to see.... hmmm im sure i can think of more but thats just it 4now :)
