Pfeffer- und Salzkörner dienen als Modelle für die Moleküle von Alkohol und von Wasser. Gleiche Volumina von beiden werden aus den Hülsen von zwei 5-ml-Spritzen in die einer 10-ml-Spritze übertragen. Nach dem Mischen beträgt das Volumen noch 8 ml.
Grains of pepper and of salt are models of alcohol and of water molecules. Equal volumes of them are transferred from two 5-ml syringe barrels into the barrel of a 10-ml syringe. After mixing the volume is 8 ml.
