  • I guess I'm late to this video series, But;

    I have been looking at this model as a 3D trainer.

    What is your recommended Power kit, and servos ?

    Thanks You.

  • What's the video camera on board ? :)

  • @FlatRat3 If you go to Hobby King and click on planes,then click on sport,aerobatic & 3D it'll show you all the 3D planes HK carries.

  • That was great,I always wondered why my plane would fall when I added more rudder instead of power!

  • I can never find that plane on the web site... can you post a link?

  • @mtwargo Thanks a lot! That makes sense. I never knew that's how pilots did it. What do you mean that it's not the right way to trim and mix an airplane though?

  • Awesome vid! Thanks a lot!

  • @panther3002 Also, Robert did a quick fix video as to how to program the mix. It is very easy, and he did a great video... NOt the right way to trim and mix an airplane, but a quick fix to a plane faling out of knife edge. Look down in the comments for the link.

  • @panther3002 The solution is simple. First Make certain your plane is balanced. If you have a lot of up elevator, you are probably nose heavy. In 3d, balance is very important. Regardless, this is what you must do. You must create a mix between rudder and elevator. in other words, every time you use rudder, the radio will automatically deflect the right amount to keep it straight. Nearly all of my planes have this mix to a degree.

  • perhaps you just use an offset switch on the elevator? Or perhaps you use neutral trim and use the elevator a lot when flying straight and level?
