Shift work is not healthy. I dont believe anyone should have to work such a schedule. And as a union employee I dont believe finding a new job is the way to go. If union employees just let the employers do as they please we would all be working as slaves.

I sent your video to a friend of mine who works shifts. I hope he writes back.
Yes, I lived in the Baltic Sea area and sunlight lamps were very useful. I would think they would help people who hardly ever saw the sun because of their work.
I know that there are mineral lamps too.. It would be worth investigating perhaps.

@viviannonthego - thanks Viviann. I haven't heard of mineral lamps before so I will definitely check those out too. Thank you for being so willing to share your advice and help others in the process ...

When I lived in northern countries with more light in the summer, I noticed i needed less sleep. I am wondering if special sunlight lamps might help people get more energy and need less sleep.

@viviannonthego - natural light definitely increases your energy levels and is therefore ANOTHER reason why shift workers feel so fatigued :) Thank you for your recommendation on Sunlight Lamps - certainly worth investigating, particularly for those who work night shift and hardly ever get a chance to see the sun.
Thanks again Viviann!
