The problem with the logic of needing to "put in the effort" is that some people already DO make a lets play. And they need to put in so much time for their own lets play that they won't actually have the time to put in all the work for the contest, or their lets play will take the backseat.

@BlackPaladin2 I understand that but a large proportion of those we are seeing are people that want in but then whine when they have to do something to earn it. What is the alternative? Lucky dip? We need to weed out those that wont contribute or join in once a month,. That would not be air to those that really want to be on and join in

Maybe the LPers should just LP their Arena Construction. If they explain to their fanbase then if they win it is a win for their entire community.

Nah the thinking of the person must do work to get in I 100% agree with. What I'm mainly saying is for people who already do lets plays already actually have a disadvantage because they already make videos and put a lot of time into it. So thinking of some way to help them out is always a plus. Like Vintage Beef's museum of Guude was how he got in. That took some time to make but nowhere near how much the arena will take people. I doubt many LPers have the time to be able to apply.

@Baj I think the competition is perfect. I like that it is huge for the same reason you do. Plus, I'm having fun. First thing I did was wander around for about an hour. It was like being on the set of my favorite TV show. I rummaged through the chests, used Guude's spiral staircase like a water slide. On my way down to the wheat farm I got lost (oops). I do feel lucky to have the time and tools to take on this challenge, and I'm sorry for those that don't. May the best mindcracker win!
