Turd Rocket Reviews: GRAW

Yeah... I know this game is goddamn old. This review is part of a request from someone who asked me to review GRAW 2. I agreed to do so except I had this nagging feeling that it just wouldn't be right to review the 2nd GRAW without reviewing the first, of which both are great games. So I decided to review this game first, then review GRAW 2 as a sort of follow-up. So here is my review for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

is the mp5 a secondary weapon like in graw 2?

Emm... hang on a sec... ... ...okay, I just needed to add some dots to convey the time it took for me to put the disc in my box, check the weapons menu then get back to my rig. No, it appears that the pistol is the only conceivable sidearm you are allowed in the first GRAW. Any other weapon must be carried as a primary, which is kind of a drag in the stages that require the AT missile.

It's the menu music for Ghost Recon 1. The audio file has the title action1, so that must be the name :)

Unless you have a widescreen TV, there's no way to turn it off. I did notice the bars are much more obtrusive here than they are when I'm actually playing. I don't have a widescreen or the hook-ups to record my footage in full screen all the time, so if a game isn't adaptable it has to look like this, unfortunately.
