As always, be aware and prepared for these situations.

Assess your area for the possible earthquake threats, make appropriate plans to deal with this. The entire globe has seen an uptick in earthquake activity along faultlines, and the more obscure "edges" of the cratons.

Have food, water, communication, transportation, and a shelter plan (mobile and stationary).

And remember to also have some form of self protection (defense).
