This is great! I love it! Will forward to all my PWD friends. We have a 3 year old male,named Amigo. He sticks his head under to retrieve, but I haven't figured out how to get him to swim down under. This is awesome!!! Check out our guy on "Amigo the Surfing Dog"

Yes they are from Portugal. These breed was helpful to Portuguese explorer for sending messages betweeen ships and to retrieve stuff from the water etc. Fishermen also used them to untangle fishnets at the bottom of the sea etc.
