Teach-In On the Korea Free Trade Agreement

Report back on a recent Teach-In opposing the impending U.S. Korea Free Trade Agreement(FTA). This educational event provides information about this latest NAFTA style FTA, which poses a threat to our state environmental laws, and predicts what jobs Oregon could expect to lose if passed. Introduction by Arthur Stamoulis of Oregon Fair Trade Campaign. Arthur is followed by David Delk of Portland Alliance for Democracy, speaking about Investor Protection Clauses; Barbara Dudley, Working Families Party of Oregon, speaking about Financial Services Agreements; and Mitch Besser, a recently displaced high tech worker. Arthur then discusses some strategies and tactics.
