On 12 October 2009 as part of the 60th International Astronautical Congress held in Daejeon, Korea, space agency heads provided an overview on current programmes and insight into future plans, giving views on actual developments and potential international opportunities. An interactive discussion with the audience followed.

see this is what i like... the space agencies working togeather, instead of competing
as much as "iconic" the space race was... I think we could of contributed alot more to space, acheivement wise, if NASA and the russian space agency worked togeather... instead of competing against each other
