"The space of literature as space of the impossibility to die"... or rather the impossibility that death itself constitutes. Death as the possibility of the impossible. The reference is to Heidegger's modal discussion of being toward death. But what remains unclear is why this space, as condition of possibility, would give rise to literature rather than anything else.
