ROCK ON ! WOOOW !

Pete Tong played this just once - then Nirvana's record label got a court order to ban it from public broadcasting in the UK.
Just such a lush cover.

On both the limited run of 300 vinyls Paul Dakeyne pressed (bootlegged many times after of course) AND the FFRR official release, 'that' guitar was NEVER a sample from the Nirvana track. It's only the musical chord progression that differentiates the two. You can read Paul's own account of the true Tinman, "18 Strings" story at his website/blog

It's an amazing recording, that's for sure.

More awesome work from Awesomerobbo. I noticed YouTube doesn't have the full version of this with the re-played sample. I'll upload that to compliment this version. Was so disappointed when the "Teen Spirit" sample was removed.
Paul Dakeyne did a good job of making a replacement for the official release, but this will always be the ultimate version.
Reminds me of "Peace + Joy" by Soundsation from 1995. It sampled "Are You Gonna Go My Way" which had to be replaced for the full release.
Probably the best tune in the world !!!!!!

strange - this is the first time ive ever heard this song with the smells like teen spirit sample (after many years wanting to hear it) and even though i know that this is the original, and the version released as the single was re-done, i think i prefer the version released as a single! maybe because thats the only one ive ever listened to.
