The Olight M20 Warrior is a heavy duty flashlight marketed towards law enforcement and military personnel. Even so, it has many features that make it a great flashlight for everyday civilian use. Sporting a shock resistant, waterproof shell, the Warrior also gives some of the best light output and battery life that I've seen in its weight class. It also doesn't hurt that it sports one of the sexiest looks out there for a tactical light.

It features: * World-class ultra bright Cree XR-E LED's: R2 WD or WH color bin (WD is a cooler tint, WH is warmer and offers better color rendering in the woods.) * Throws a beam up to 250 meters / 273 yards * Up to 150 hour runtime * Tactical momentary-on forward switch, protruding switch for easy momentary or click to lock on * Three digitally controlled constant brightness levels and tactical strobe * Auto memorization of specific function for instant access to output level or mode * Linear functional adjustment for easy change of functions * Cutting-edge reverse polarity protection, protects the circuit from improperly installed batteries * Stainless steel striking bezel and rear striking bezel, both removable * Superior heat sink that disperses heat to protect LED and electrical components * Full orange peel reflector, perfectly centered light source, for flawless beam with the great throw - Optional available smooth reflector available for maximum penetration and beam distance * Rugged, nearly indestructible aluminum body with anti-scratching Type III Mil-Spec Hard * Built to Mil-spec: MIL-STD-810F * Strong quick-release lanyard * Rated at IP-68 for enclosure resistance to dust & Water (Waterproof 1M+) * Anti-shatter ultra clear lens, anti-scratching and anti-slip * Lock-out function to prevent accidental activation * Anodized aluminum 'cigar hold' ring offers additional anti-roll properties and is removable for a smoother body profile * NEW: Now includes a 'ring' to cover the threads exposed if the cigar grip ring is removed! (Included with Black finish ONLY... not available with olive drab) * Built-in steel pocket clip, removable * Advanced digital power management system for non-dimming output * Battery Magazine for 2 x CR123A's to prevent batteries from rattling in the battery tube (Spares available as an accessory) - magazine use not required. 2 x RCR123A's may not fit magazine due to size of cells. * Dimensions: 144 mm (length) x 36 mm (diameter at head) * Battery options:Batteries not included. o 2 x Lithium CR123A's o 2 x Protected Li-Ion RCR123A's (3.0V or 3.6V) o 1 x Protected Li-Ion 18650 * Optional remote pressure switch available * Optional weapon mount available

Output/Runtime (using 1x18650, 2500mah): * Low: 7 lm (150hrs) * Med: 90 lm (12hrs) * Hi/Strobe: 250 lm (~3hrs)

  • The battery magazine is nice, but my 123A batteries don't rattle without it. Also, I can't get the switch assembly apart to change the switch, which is maddening. I use a large pair of military tweezers to twist it, but it doesn't move. I hate it when things don't work the way they're supposed to.

  • Hei, Olight David

Is your Olight SR-X6 True "6000 Lumen" Dive resistance 6 XML Led coming to release Production on Sep 2011? U says it's coming very soon. Just how long do u want us to wait!

  • Just about to pull the purchase trigger on one of these from Bushcraft Canada. Seems to be a very comparable light to the Maelstrom G5, but with a much lower price.

Buying to be mounted on a firearm and other general purpose needs.

  • Is Olight a subsitarary of FENIX or viceversa??

  • True Extreme Car, Bicycle, Hand Held Light.

    Type this on Youtube:

  • Hi: Can this CR123 size 10,000 mAh high capacity nickel hydride metal (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries blow off the Olight 800 Lumen Led Torch? Will it auto increase current draw for 4 CR123 size at (3v x 4pc) x 10,000mAh = 120W power or auto fix Draw back at 9.6W Power?

Olight Led does not have voltage regulation control.

    Normal Battery was using (3v x 4)x 800mAh=9.6W

if change all battery to 4 CR123 size 3v with 10,000mAh, will it create 120W power & Double to 1600 Lumen Brighness or more

  • Thank you for this fantastic review!

    I'm convinced!

  • can you please do a vid on the glow switch install

  • I have the TK40 and I love that flashlight. Soon as I saw the olights, I fell in love with them. Problem is I could not decide what light I wanted. The M20 or the M30 so I got both. LOL. Can't wait for them to get here. By the way, great review.

  • The M20 is a fantastic weapon light, and I have the M20S version mounted on my AR, with the M30 side button pressure switch. I find the pressure switch works better under my thumb when using the AFG, with the light mounted on the opposite side of the weapon.
