The People's Stimulus: Get Your Money Back

Politicians are going to spend $800 billion dollars which they claim will stimulate the economy. For the same amount of money we could eliminate the payroll tax for the rest of the year, giving the average worker thousands of dollars back in their pocket. Instead of more government spending, why not just let the American people spend their own money?

@TheSoulOfColorado yeah that sounds good, but from your point of view it was the poor+middle class that made this ression. they did jump at the chance to get "free money" aka loans but it was the upper class that was given it away.

as for a "a balance budget" they have passed them but the problem is keeping to them. and they don't for one reason or another.

what they need to do anyway, is to get working. stop money from leaving and start bringing it in. stop sending work overseas.

I have a solution... cut all govt spending across the BOARD by 15%. Use that money to pay down the national debt. Also pass a balance budget amendment, so that the Fed govt cannot budget more than it makes. That will stop overspending.

The ENTIRE national debt (now $13 Trillion) could be paid down in 8 years. Would the U.S. drop dead in 8 years? HARDLY
