Perhaps singing this silly song was Herman's penance -- we'll let you back if you give us a nice product placement on one of your records... ha! Ridiculous lyrics but the tune sort of grows on you just like an advert jingle of that era would.
peter noon sang on opra and it was off key ,flat and generally embarrasing i think maybe he was trying to resurrect an ancient career.i think there was a memory time for each song type and it's importance for each person.except for the stones.i bet they will put mikes in thier coffins just in case they come back for one more classy rockin'tune.
