First attempt to jam along to a hip-hop/R&B track, and naturally I chose Nesian Mystik, a great group from NZ. I actually met them while they were doing some gigs in Tokyo, and was lucky enough to spend the entire evening with them, traveling between gigs and hanging out in the V.I.P areas. Very nice guys, very chill and down to earth. No egos, which I was pleased to find. So, this is for them, and all N.Zers out there doing their thing everyday listening to solid NZ tunes like this. Hope you like it... did it in one take and although its a little rough in parts, its a freestyle so, the mistakes are all part of it. I used a tight drum kit sample set, and tried to give it an upbeat funk feel.
