eeeee eee eeee was not a good book. bottom line is there was NO STORY - there was no reason to turn the page. And to compensate for lack of story, tao lin wrote with this absurd, hyper-stream of consciousness, hipster-esque, style, that in the end was not significant at all. i'm not a purist, or a traditionalist, my favorite works are experimental - but even experimental writing replaces structure with SOMETHING else, and lin didn't do that with any of his writing, especially eeeeeeee.

i liked that you at least read it, and i appreciate you sharing your opinion, but i loved it.
i love subtle humor and stories that end up where they started, and jokes that are barely jokes at all. it was hilarious and the language he used put me in a good state of mind. so. =) maybe it just isn't for everyone. i'll be pickier about who i recommend it to. haha
