The SnipMate plugin aims to mimic the popular snippets feature in TextMate, which allows you to type a sequence of characters, and then automatically expand to a full block of code or html.

  • What do you guys think is faster? Snippts or autocomplete? What do you prefer to use, Jeffrey?

  • Amazing editor. Thanks for previewing the power of the editor. I have tried Notepad++, sublimeText (in both Windows and Linux) but always feel something is missing. This tutorial some of those missing features :) and infinite customization this tool allows.

  • @martinre2s I think that he is using iTerm 2

  • Very high quality tutorial and to the point. Great job!

  • Hey Jeffrey is there a plugin to help with autocompletion in php? Not just regular php functions, but something that detects imported functions (with required or required_once in php for example) or when you declare a new object it detects the functions in that object, kind of like netbeans does. This is the only thing that has kept me from switching.
