The SnipMate plugin aims to mimic the popular snippets feature in TextMate, which allows you to type a sequence of characters, and then automatically expand to a full block of code or html.
Amazing editor. Thanks for previewing the power of the editor. I have tried Notepad++, sublimeText (in both Windows and Linux) but always feel something is missing. This tutorial some of those missing features :) and infinite customization this tool allows.
Hey Jeffrey is there a plugin to help with autocompletion in php? Not just regular php functions, but something that detects imported functions (with required or required_once in php for example) or when you declare a new object it detects the functions in that object, kind of like netbeans does. This is the only thing that has kept me from switching.
I added following snippet, then i reopened vim in new window. But i didn't work. Is there anything i've done wrong?
