In the second full episode, we have more romantic fun. Molly & Julie, wearing a very stylish robe for a recent bomb victim, talk about a Valentine's Day surprise for Tanner. Jack is shocked by Jennifer's big news. Lawrence turns out to be quite the pack rat as he reads an old Valentine's Day card from Carly and then has a flashback to their past complete with their song and a gauzy lens. Plus they're in the sack. What could be better? Nothing, that's what.

But, another day, another fashion assault by the Days wardrobe department. Carly shows up at the pier to find Abe and Marlena - where else would you look for these two - and tell them about Bo's letter. Carly's trials don't end with a missing fiance, she's wearing a mustard color oversized coat and scarf. Mustard. It's so bad you almost won't notice the ripped, sleeveless jean jacket Tanner wears over his leather jacket. That's how much of a rebel he is.

  • This is kind of sad they never really grew old together :(

  • I must be in some sort of mood because this got me all misty. I need to get back to my usual cynicism!

It is sad, what did they say, A MONTH? I guess they thought, "we had 36 hours" was a bit too much.

  • Well now, Lawrence was something to look at back in the day!

  • "Hotter than Georgia asphalt at high noon in August" to quote a friend of mine from back in the day. I need to go fan myself now.

  • Maybe but knowing how slow time on Days moves a month could easily be 3 years in real time.

  • That was one of my fave flashbacks.

Jack, sigh. I so loved Jack once upon a time but once they "redeemed" him all they had left to work with was a series of personality quirks more befitting a 12 year old. A sad fate for a once great character, imho.
