@SLFinSF That is my opinion too! I really really love the guy and the E Street members, my life wouldn't be the same without the music I grew up with. I saw him in 81 Brussels Forest for the very first time , I saw the light in music in life ...Thanks Bruce!

This is from the Live in Barcelona DVD - a sort of bonus video of the band's shows at Fenway in Boston in 2003. In the video they're playing Diddy Wah Diddy, an old Bo Diddley song amped up by the Bruce and E Streeters/

I swear, I have tears in my eyes watching this -- and a couple of other birthday videos. I'm 52...and first saw Bruce in one of r&r's most legendary concerts -- at Winterland in San Francisco in Dec. '78 . Never been the same since. God help us the day he dies -- I will cry as hard and grieve him as deeply as I did my own father.
