Highlights from #3 Oklahoma State's 59-24 dismantling of Baylor to improve to 8-0 in 2011.
Joseph Randle set career-highs by running for 152 yards and four touchdowns, Justin Blackmon matched his career best with 13 catches for 172 yards and two scores and No. 3 Oklahoma State beat Baylor 59-24 on Saturday.
The Cowboys (8-0, 5-0 Big 12) started a season with eight straight wins for only the second time in school history. The other time was in 1945, when they finished the season 9-0, won the Sugar Bowl and were ranked fifth in the final poll.
Brodrick Brown recovered two fumbles, and Daytawion Lowe and Justin Gilbert had interceptions as Oklahoma State forced five turnovers.
Baylor (4-3, 1-3) didn't get into the end zone until the first play of the fourth quarter, when Terrance Gannaway's 18-yard scamper made it 49-10.
The Bears were stuffed on fourth-and-1 twice, including on the goal line on their opening drive, and Justin Gilbert picked off one of Griffin's passes in the end zone on third-and-goal from the 5. Aaron Jones also continued his struggles, missing a 48-yard field goal.
Brandon Weeden finished with 274 yards passing and three touchdowns without any interceptions. His other scoring pass was an 18-yarder to fullback Kye Staley, who had given up the game entirely after a serious knee injury and got into the end zone for the first time in his comeback.

Best team in the nation hands down.... After all of the scouting I have done NOBODY matches up with Bama or LSU better than OK state. Its a shame that the BEST team in the nation didnt get a chance and a team that DIDNT WIN THEIR OWN DIVISION IN THEIR CONFERENCE won the national championship....

@PaulsStampCollection That's not what the Heisman is about. It is awarded to the most outstanding player in the country, and according to this game, and the T. Tech game, this guy is just average, and not even the best QB in his own conference.

@spacitydrummer4JC ... before RG3 Baylor was lucky to win a game. Take him away and Baylor is in trouble. You put him on a team like Texas ... he might win a national title for them. ... just saying...

This is why RG3 doesn't deserve the Heisman. He's been putting up huge numbers, but doing it against teams like TCU, Rice, and Stephen F Austin. What happens when he plays a difficult Oklahoma State team? 59-24. He put up over 400 yards because they were down by so much and were forced to throw the ball every play. In my opinion, he's not Heisman ready.
