@sMC193 Dont try to talk sense to people that listen to Gerald Celente.....I have listened to the guys ridiculous doomsday predictions for a few years now...and they NEVER come to fruition.....he always takes the worst case scenario

Mate if things get as bad as celente and alex jones and his ilk are saying gold and silver wont do shit for you. The only thing that will count will be who has the biggest gun period.

I took my entire 401k, cashed out of the mutual fund scams...and bought CENTRAL GOLD TRUST, GTU on the AMEX. Allocated Gold in the Imperial Bank of Canada. SAFE!!! Turned $32k into $40k in 4 months. Yes, physical gold in my safe would be better, but it's 401k. Gold is going up and will keep going. The Obama stimulus is sign that things are fucked up. WTSHTF...I'll buy country land and leave the city behind. This collapse is coming! Buy food, ammo, silver, gold and tools. TANGIBLES!!!!!

We don't see riots in America because Americans are busy watching porno movies in the internet. Of course this is subsidized by the Federal Reserve to distract peoples attention to real issues.
-
oh bullshit you obviously havent watched his old videos. he keeps delaying his forecasts.
-
he actually said there would be a commercial real estate collapse by the 2nd quarter of next year and said the riots would happen if the economy collapsed. He didn't give a without a doubt time line he just said it may happen when the economy collapses, and it will.
-
He said we would have riots this past summer that would dwarf the riots of the 1960s. WRONG! Remeber that huge rant about the commercial real estate collapse that would happen by last March? WRONG! He's a moron.

like?

Firearms are used for self defense and recreation over here. 90% of the guns used in crimes are black market weapons, for obvious reasons.
Of the 150 million legally registered guns in the US, only 0.0001% are used in a crime.

Don't put words into my mouth. Celente has made many inaccurate predictions in the last year. More inaccurate ones than accurate ones and I'm sorry I even listened to him.
It's against the law to rob banks...
how ironic that it's not... for the banks to rob us?!!
WTF!

Celentes, in my view, hits the nail precisely on the head.
I regard the US economy as functioning in la la land. I.e. growth depends on production, not on so-called sophisticated, speculative investment strategies. China essentially owns the US economy. In my view, the only hope for the US economy is to become again a competitive producer, not just an artful manipulator of numbers.
