  • what about the chuck. i see that you dont tighten it very much when you attach it to the lathe. so does it tighten itself good enought while the thread is clockwise and the lathe is turning counter clockwise?

    You are totally right, the lathe is turning counter clockwise and does it tighten itself too.

    One question?The mill and lathe are CNC controlled.Have you done by yourself this "upgrade"?Do you have some kind a history how have you done it?

    In my Cnc system, I use the original drive and stepper motor too.

    But, for my lathe I make some mechanical modifications with stepper motor nema 17, the results are very good for all work, with any material.

    In yahoo Sherline group you can see many pictures about it, and as soon as possible I will make a video and to show it too.
