This segment makes it seem like people should be STUNNED that she's heavy and black, and that she's a credit to her...weight? Seems to me she's a pretty, smart person and that "don't judge a book by its cover" bit is disingenuous.

I love all the comments on here about how we all need to GET REAL and realize that she's very heavy and potentially unhealthy. No shit! But just like if someone drank too much, smoked too much, or exercised too much, none of that would detract from their worth as a human being or their abilities as an actor.

I don't know anything about Susan Boyle and even less about that shitty show she appeared on.

I've seen her, she's not too pretty but being ugly doesn't necessarily give you health issues.

Precious has two things that will enable her to remain huge:

1. being black - if you're black, noone can say anything or they're called racist

2. being fat - fatness gets a pass. we label drunks and druggies but noone dares says anything about someones addiction to food

So I guess she's doomed.

@psychomajic666 oh yea btw, about 300 years ago a mans natural urge was to hook up with fat women because they have the best chance of conceiving a healty baby and carrying it full term, all the while having plenty of fat to produce milk for the baby. We're just so conditioned now to think that stick women are hot and healthy...all in all fat people have the best personalities , for having to make up for the weight.
