Probably the best of all Burns poems...and the only one which is a story. Written for his friend Capt Francis Grose for publication in his Scottish Antiquaries. I have had many a Burns supper invitation on the strength of this. Here is a unique version set to a series of ten paintings by Charles Nasmyth and enhanced by some effects from imovie.
