The one that started it all. This is the first film I shot and edited over 15 years ago in the age of Analog Video. It was shot with a Sony Hi8 Camcorders (One of the first ones) and cut using two flying head VCRs. All sound was edited after the video edit. It was a hard feat back in the day. In 2000 It was re-cut using Apple iMovie.

This is a Video Skit done by a Christian Church Youth Group in National City, California. Its a has a powerful message told using the Star Trek theme. I sure hope you enjoy your journey with the crew of the USS Enterprise as they have an "Encounter at Outpost Alpha Omega.

All the production props, costumes, Actors, Lighting, Shooting and Editing was done for under $100.
The screen play was written by Albert Pena and Shot and Edited by David Pena.

LOL ! Spock has a bit of challenge to get his lines out!

  • Haha, Uhura doing her nails. *Cracks up on floor* Cardboard box sliding doors! Sulu finding a cuarter...clever. Chekov too, man, you guys had some pretty funny ideas. Great job on the scene of falling to the ground at being hit as well. Good job to the guy playing Bones as well, it's hard to get his voice raspy enough and I know he was probably struggling. My compliments.

  • a1 exellent

  • The whooshing door sound effect with the cardboard door made me giggle every time. And I loved how much it took me by surprise when you cut to the Klingons and it's Star Trke VI footage. Good use of editing!
