  • @apocalypsepirate You act like I said I approve of those ridiculous wars. I don't recall saying I do. They still kill people who are, by their country, considered bad people and so, in my opinion, should be considered heroes. People who die for what they believe in, even if by others it's not right, and even if they themselves consider it not right. I've met U.S. soldiers who hate the war they fight, know it's stupid. But they fight it anyway for their country. I say that makes them heroes.

  • @hiimgod801 Hmmm. It seems the line between war and unnecessary conflict grows ever thinner when you talk to somone from the U.S. I`m afraid that being killed while you`re bullying around underdeveloped countries, does not carry the same weight as a true hero giving his life to stop Hitler before he steps on your shore. In fact, one could say, it`s a death deserved. Anyway, you shouldn`t use songs like this, to help justify your unnecesary conflicts. It`s very disrespectful .

  • Great job. It went deep into the meaning of RW's feelings. Beautifully editted, perfectly integrated with the song. Congratulations!

  • @apocalypsepirate Because it's a song written about Waters father, yes, but it is for everyone who loses family in wars. Even if the wars were avoidable, and unnecessary, people still die in them and those people are no worse for fighting for their country, even if it was wrong to do so.

  • @apocalypsepirate It is appropriate due to the fact that war steals parents and children from their loved ones. As I get older it breaks my heart more and more. I am not naive enough to think that some wars must happen, but it is even sadder when most wars now are politically or economically based.

  • This great song written by Waters for his father who was killed in support of the Anzio bridge head in the British campaign of WWII. WHY there is American film clips showing their history of unecessary wars and bullying underdeveloped countries around is beyond me. It`s truly a shame.

  • made me cry, The floyd are ace, world fucked. Hey world leader get together, agree to stop killing children directly and indirectly through starvation and disease and we might let you off some of the other shit!

  • @Emilydubose Bitch, if you don't understand, don't click Dislike in a great music of Pink Floyd!

  • Hate it. Don't know what the message is.

  • es una tristeza que el mejor grupo de rock del mundo se halla quedado mudo ante el ataque del fascismo de la UNO los EEUU y la otan alos pueblos del mundo
