Typography project from Design and Multimedia Communication 3º semester at www.esap.pt/ . The objective here was to make a word with a module (for reference on using modules, look up Sagmeister's typography work). We used both coloured and plain paper clips to achieve this. The idea behind it is pretty basic: a link of clips is forming the word LINK. Simple as that.
On the video itself, I tried to mix things up a bit by adding a couple of moments caught on video that weren't exactly productive to the process, so to speak, instead of using just "building moments" on fast-forward, as you see quite often. I did this because one of the things I enjoy best when watching any kind of artistic process on video, is the interaction between the people involved. Be it actual work or just making awful jokes (penny-arcade.com/patv/show/pa-the-series is a good example).
One of the things that probably made this look, or sound better then what it actually is, was the awesome music by Alex Mauer. You can download it for free at http://alexmauer.com/
Also props to William Clifford for creating the font used in the LINK http://www.dafont.com/pixellife
