The bravest players in the land were captain Billy and his band, that's Frank the Lamp, Alan Dev, Paul and Stewart and Tricky Trev.

I was there too, Great day
-
quality want the whole match

We must be the biggest underacheivers EVER.
We had some genuine world class players in that team: Devsonshire, Brooking and Parkes in goal. Added to that some other great players like Stewart, Lampard, Bonds, Martin and a fantastic manager in John Lyall, just how were we in the second division?

just curious, why do neither team have their home kit on? They both appear to be in their away uniforms. Anyone know?

I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air.
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Then like my dreams,
They fade and die.
Fortune's always hiding,
I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air.

The one thing I remember apart from the glorious feeling of beating the Arsenal was the Willie Young tackle on Paul Allen and Allen trudging off the pitch in tears. it was a glorious day and one I will never forget.
I was there
never forget the day "IRONS"
