Feeding a street dog on Christmas. Happy Holidays, everyone!

This dog actually stopped my car in the street. I tossed food at him then he wagged his tail. I broke my rule and got out and fed him. He's not neutered, missing an eye, some bad sores, lots of scars and he's skinny. A guy came out and asked why I was feeding his dog. I said his dog looked hungry. I told him if he didn't want his dog, I'd take him. He launched into a tirade of obscenities which is when I realized he was drunk. Then he threw a bottle at me which ended up hitting my car. I drove off. I will try to go back find him and dog-nap him if I can. UPDATE: I went back today and found the dog nine blocks away. He had no owner, now he does. He's at the vet getting checked out, vaccinated, neutered. I got the dog earlier today. I drove and drove, actually gave up on finding him, thought I'd save some another dog. Then I found him nine blocks from where I originally found him. He's at the vet, will be neutered in the morning. A great Christmas gift!
