No one else did a better job of promoting live music on radio and television than Don Imus. The state of the art studio at MSNBC was a fabulous staging area for artists ranging from Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam, Delbert McClinton, Patty Loveless, Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris and on and on. Lou's great affection for Levon Helm is typical of what Imus brought to his loyal audience on a weekly basis for many years.

Imus looks like a corpse.

Warning- Hoped this'd be music- No- 3 guys with small vocabularies struggling a lot to say little- The word 'great' was popular allround- They must've had dead air to fill at the TV station
-
@mcdstuff My thoughts exactly. After all his years on the air you would think he'd have enough in the bank so he wouldn't have to sell his soul for a Fox News paycheck. He grew up working class and now shills for a network that is nothing more than a mouthpiece for corporate interests without a conscience.

Amen to that!

these guys are boring, wanted to see some good music playing
-
who are these dudes?
-
it's amazing to me that these guys are getting paid to sit there & yack around. Talking in circles , saying nothing. Seinfeld thought HIS show was about nothing !?
-
when did imus decide to become a cowboy?

These guys are faggots.
I really hate Web 2.0. Nobody cares what you think!

Didn't Sammy do a great job?! He came out to do 'Fanny Mae' looking kind of frail, and started with the harmonica, then began booming out the vocals - his performance just floored me! One of hundreds of highlights from that unbelievable night of music!
