Here Glenn Beck uses his CNN Headline News show as a pulpit to exploit the death of Gordon Hinckley as an opportunity to promote Mormonism.

  • i didn't view this as a exploit of Mr.Hinckley's death. Glen Beck was simple honoring a man's memory whom he respected. I am not a Mormon myself, I am a non denominational Christan, but some of their sermons are truly moving and inspiring others are less so. But either way I respect the man Glen Beck was referencing to in this segment of his show. A particular sermon of his comes to my mind entitled "The Woman In My Life", you should look it up and see who this man truly was....

  • Great video. In fact, I'd say the only problem I have with this is the title somebody chose for it. I'm not a Glenn Beck fan by any means, but this is just a nice, sincere tribute to a guy he admires. He never even mentions what Church he belongs to. He's not promoting anything; just sharing his thoughts.

    Good job, Glenn.

  • hinckley was a racist and a man of hatred. just listen to what he says bout gays. how a "prophet" have hate towards another human even if they disagree with their lifestyle? fake prophets is what the mormons r worshiping. smh

  • Hinckley was a good man but Mormonism is false. Egyptologists have even proven that Joe Smith's interpretations of the facsimiles from the supposed lost Book of Abraham in the Mormon Pearl of Great Price to be made up. See the video Mormism disproved in less than 5 minutes and you'll see what I'm talking about. Or google Book of Abraham. the facts are everywhere.

  • "We can learn alot from watching good examples from time to time" This is in no way exploiting Mormonism. To believe that you'd have to think every time Martin Luther King was mentioned, that the speaker was promoting Baptists.

  • @caseycuevas you are wise my friend :)

  • snif...I promised myself that i wouldn't cry! Waaaa......Glenn is a nutbag.

  • He never once said in this clip that this was regarding Mormonism or the LDS. One would have to research Gordon Hinckley to find out that he's talking about Mormonism.

When it comes to people like you, Heal the Land, self-righteous collectivist hippie, we know the score. You're out to criticize anyone and anything to feel better about your insecurities. You're not going to be capable of healing shit until you change this behavior of taking cheap shots to get attention.

  • @goldmakers If the idea of a man being beaten and tortured to death makes you feel saved.....good for you....I guess......sigh

  • what a retard - hinkley was a homophobe and a liar who denied the historical polygamy and racism of the mormon church

  • Glen, I think you're a nice bloke...what little I can pick up over the tv...but mormonism??? Look again dude!!!......And as for my faith your faith or any faith at all????......SIGH!!!!!!!.........
