AB11's Pokemon Black Nuzlocke Ep. 2: Monkey Business

Apparently I got really frustrated over the lag in this video. After watching it... I realize my frustration kinda killed the video. I also notice that the two episodes after this are kinda the same. Sorry... guess I was in a bad mood or something. I'll try my best not to be frustrated anymore... and/or find a way to fix the lag. Just so you know... I record my voice WHILE I'm playing, and the lag is from the game itself, not my recorder. I guess this is the drawback from using a Rom instead of the DS.

I feel so sorry for Chili. He was probably bullied nonstop as a kid for being named after a type of food :/

...other than that, don't really have any comments about this part either. The beginning of Pokemon games is really slow and boring...

Oh! As for the name Phil... it is a reference to a Monkey in the movie Madagascar. I originally named my PanSAGE that, in a previous playthrough, because Pansage represents "Speak no evil", and Phil in the movie could not speak. However, I couldn't think of anything better for Panpour (See no evil), so I just kept the same name, even though it doesn't fit as well. I was hoping for a female, because Simipour (Panpour's evolution) looks like a girl... but whatever :P

Important stuff that happens in this Episode (spoilers):
-We catch another Lillipup, named Buddy
-We receive a Panpour at he Dreamyard, named Phil
-Tallulah dies
-We defeat Chili, the first gym Leader

Nuzlocke rules I am following:
---------------------------------------
1. If a Pokemon faints at any time, they are considered dead, and can never be used again.
2. I am only allowed to capture the very first Pokemon I encounter in every new area. If I don't, I'm out of luck for that area. An area includes but is not limited to a route, cave, forest, city, castle, etc.
3. My Pokemon's levels cannot exceed the highest leveled pokemon of the next gym leader. If any pokemon does, I am not allowed to use them for that gym leader battle. Also, none of them can exceed level 50 before I enter the Pokemon league. If I even make it that far...

I hate lag too. My computer lags when typing, it ticks me off. I'm a perfectionist, I'm bugged when my mouse is on a video. When it lags, I'm like screw this. I'll record later.

stab applies to every type using an attack of its own type like a fire type using flamethrower or a normal type using tackle will give the attack a 1.5x power boost so tackle being 50 power if a patrat uses it then its equal to 75 power

I don't think STAB applies to Normal types, however. Though in Gen 5 they increased Tackle's power and accuracy, so that could be why it's better than Bite.

Odor Sleuth is a great move actually. It makes its o you can hit Ghost types with fighting and normal attacks. So suddenly a Lillipup can start to hit ghosts and if its early enough in game not have to worry about getting hit back.
