See Russ's first campaign ad, titled Forward. The ad highlights Wisconsins tradition of fiscal responsibility and Feingolds independent record of being tough on wasteful Washington spending and his opposition to federal bailouts passed by both Republican and Democratic Presidents.
Senator Feingold is my senator, an argument against term limits, an independent thinker, an honorable person... He fights for justice.

Sen. Russ Feingold is the kind of deficit hawk we need: he voted against the $1 trillion Wall St. bailout, but voted for stimulus funding to help Main St., USA. He voted against the Iraq war in 2002. We're going to need 50+ more senators like Feingold to finally get out of Iraq & Afghanistan.

@kelsbackonyoutub No Obama IS doing the same thing Hoover did in some cases Hoover was doing the right thing. Read Milton Friedman's article about the depression - it was mainly monetary contraction done by the Federal Reserve!!!

what a bag of crap......I'll vote for a raw potato before this guy

@762lenny by focusing on lowering the deficit rather than actually taking action to get out of it, he prolonged it. Google Barack Hoover Obama, look for the Harper's article

@kelsbackonyoutub Hoover did not cause the depression if that is what you are getting at - read some more about the great depression and get back with me.

@762lenny you do understand that Hoover's biggest concern was lowering the deficit, right

Senator Feingold is one of the true public servants in government. I hope he will be re-elected.

@kelsbackonyoutub Deficit hawk? If that means Congressman who want to lower it then we need more of them. If they are 2 faced lairs about it then they are out.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
How can Feingold claim to be tough on wasteful spending when he voted for the $787 billion stimulus?!
