His story is left up for interpretation, so feel free to be inspired. By your use of the word, "troll" im assuming your an interweb type who knows absolutly nothing about how to survive. Hey dumbarse he didn't die from food poisoning. Don't take offense to a strangers side (Thats who he is to you and I and everyone else) Read a the book. No one knows for sure how he died. Sean Penn over exaggerated on everything.

If any of you jackarses read the journel instead of watching the movie you would know that he wasn't free, the movie's good but over exaggerated a lot. And left out a lot of key moments of his life. "Chris is NAIVE in the beginning of his journey, but when he gets put in a situation that hes not in control over, he finnaly comprehends his meaning of existence!"

He was inspiring, but stupid. Had he only brought with him proper supplies and a map, he would have lived. Only 1.4 mile from a bridge over the river that stranded him. Plus he should not have smoked his moose, but air dried the meat into thin slices. Alaska is unforgiving. Tragic story.

@van1980 I wouldn't say he was stupid, naive yeah but definately not stupid. He was right to smoke the meat but he didn't do it correctly and if you try to air dry your meat at the wrong time you might be left with nothing but bones and fly fecies. lol
