@CobraStyleDevil OK, that comment combined with your erroneous assertion that Bean "made like 10-15 calls", tells me for sure that you've never heard the original John Bean tapes. Bean's tapes had circulated and been heard on the tour buses of various country stars for years before Brent and Phil heard about the success of the Jerky Boys CDs and plundered this dead guy's schtick. If Brent and Phil are buddies of yours, I'm sorry if the truth hurts a little bit, but the truth is still the truth.

Douglas and Stone repeatedly use very specific VERBATIM phrases (as well as schtick and tactics) that had been created by Bean and circulated widely on cassette for more than a decade before they launched their "Roy Mercer" truck-stop product franchise. Whether Bean recorded 5 calls or 500 is irrelevant either way.
