  • I have a question, does the freeze mark become less noticeable after some time?

  • No, the freeze mark will always be visible. It is a permanent brand.

  • how old is he looks like a colt to me

  • She is definitely NOT a colt. She is an 8 year old.

  • What a lovely horse! When the BLM came to Cornell a few years ago, I went to the sale just to look...all the horses were very skinny and scrawny looking...not like yours. How long have you had her and how is she doing now?

  • When we first got Secret, she was very skinny and her feet were very over grown. Mustangs are generally very easy keepers and don't require any special feeds to keep their weight on good.

  • She's a very pretty mustang. I realize this video was taken in 2008, do you have recent videos of her?

  • @MusicMotives She is desensitizing the mare. It helps a horse get used to the feel of things touching her all over, the feel of something being on her legs, over her head and around her, etc. Also the noise helps desensitize her as well. Its a very common method. :)

  • what is the purpose of doing this, ive never seen it before

  • You're daughter seems to be an awful good trainer!!!

  • @medallo41

It most often depends on the color of the horse. They tend to become less visible on light roans and some grays.

  • she's really shiny! good looking mare! :)

  • @medallo41 but you could dye it with hair dye for like, shows or whatever if it bothered you.
