First, research before you start talking shit. If I can dream isn't a gospel song, it's a song about racial equity and human rights, using some quotes from MLK. This is a song that also reflects a very important time in the USA history, since it was ordered by Steve Binder and Elvis, in light of the assasinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. Southern Gospel will never be a creation of white people, there's no arguing about that.
