They should put a sensor on it so it will follow you wherever you go. Haha. Or better yet, just put the thing on wheels and have it follow you around all day looking for attention. Better the t.v. than your wife. ;)

@FireAntGazette Should have waited 10 more minutes before recording ...wires running across the mantle, behind the tv..no management at all. First impression is a piss shit job..but if you cleaned it up than great.

That is one sexy motorized wall mount.. when can i buy one of those..? i have a standard flat to wall tv mount would be so cool to have that one instead..
Such mount, and the wires are all hanging there. Ugh. I've done 100's of mountings, and never seen such a mess. Clean it up, please.

@kornukaz And you really should get a life. This video was taken about five minutes after we first hung the TV.

The mount with work with any standard VESA-equipped TV, but the remote motorized features work only with Samsung TVs (and there's no reason to get this particular mount if you can't use the motor; there are much cheaper and lighter non-motorized models).

Do you know if this wall mount is compatible with new Samsung 8500 LED LCD tvs?

I have no idea. I was actually wondering that myself.

how is this mount controlled is it rf or ir
kaeleb32 2 years ago
It's IR. The mount is actually controlled (or at least powered up) via the TV, in that the mount can't be activated and moved unless the TV is on. The TV's remote is used to control the movement of the mount.
