Militants training came in three parts. For two weeks boys were taught to provide tip offs about Security force manoeuvres. Then came a 40-day militant training and lastly, training in the art of becoming a suicide bomber. Group of teenagers in Swat purportedly brainwashed by the militants and determined to enact maximum carnage as suicide bomber. Militants used to say there is a great reward in heaven for anyone slaughtering a soldier and same reward if you slaughter someone telling you it is wrong. Terrorist used to show would be bombers around and dupe them into believing that after their death in suicide attacks their stature would be equal to Sahaba-i-Karaam and that they would enjoy the company of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The term Sahaba-i-Karaam refers to close associates of the HolProphet (PBUH). Boys aged between 12 and 18 were trained to become suicide bombers.
