Rev. Gerald L. K. Smith featured in "Ministers of Hate" and "Demagogues of the Depression" was once called the greatest orator of the 20th Century. But in fact he orchestrated the murders of both Senator Huey Long of Louisiana, his former patron, and President John F. Kennedy, his arch-enemy along with Franklin D. Roosevelt. He used the proceeds of the funds received for the JFK murder from Wickliffe Draper to fund his Christ of the Ozarks shrine in Arkansas. Glen Jeansonne documented Smith's bank balance as of 12/31/1963 at under $5,000 yet Smith spent over $1,000,000 on Christ of the Ozarks in 1964. Smith attended the Richard Giesbrecht Incident in Winnipeg, Canada in the Spring of 1964 along with Anastase Vonsiatsky, discussing the pending payoffs for their parts in the recent JFK assassination. Vonsiatsky was featured in "The Russian Fascists" (Little, Brown 1979) and Wickliffe Draper funded "The Bell Curve" (1994), founded Human Events Magazine (1956) and funded both The Mississippi Sovereignty Commission according to the Wall Street Journal and the International Association for the Advancement of Eugenics and Ethnology in 1964. Draper was Mr. Eugenics during the 20th Century and his newphew Floyd Draper played second fiddle to Jesse Owens and Ralph Metcalf in the 1936 Olympics. Vonsiatsky was "The Manchurian Candidate" according to Richard Condon in the novel and movies with the same title (1961 and 2003).
Wow.
This is classic 1930s-era fascist rhetoric and style done in an American cornbread kinda way.
Unbelievable. I mean, you can really tell that he's self-consciously using Hitler as a model -- this idea that the nation is under threat from within by degenerate forces and that the volk, the pure people of the land, the middle classes, will rise up like a phoenix from the ashes and establish a pure nation.
Smith, like "Father" Charles Coughlin, should be studied as a very dangerous demagogue

Take a look a the Wikipedia entries for Gerald L K Smith. A case is being built that he was responsible for the assassination of both Senator Huey Long and John F. Kennedy. And look at the UK based Spartacus Educational site for information on Smith and his affiliations with those responsible for murdering Civil Rights workers Chaney, Schwerner and Goodman.

The logical flow of this thesis is that GLK Smith was the "King of Assassinations", and he had Huey Long killed. Smith had 13 years to live and he only had $5K to his name and his dreams were not realized. He saw the JFK plot as a chance to kill "another" politician. Smith discussed the JFK hit after the fact. Then he came into a Million Buckss. He was quite capable of Regicide.

After seeing this, you can appreciate what a totally paranoid and vehemently disruptive individual Smith was. His comment about the Kennedys was: "The Kennedy brothers are nothing but whore-mongering, whiskey-swigging fake Catholics who want to take this country away from the God-fearing, Bible-reading White Christians like you and me and give it up on a silver platter to all the ****ers, the kikes and spics." Smith murdered both Huey Long and John F. Kennedy.
