@wingedhaku Not always. Specifically when spain was under Islamic power (in what's called the Golden Age of Islam), there was relative peace between the three religions before the crusades happened. In any case though, all three religions condemn violence, which is why all this violence and hatred is such a mystery (since it really goes against all three religions). Especially since the Qur'an makes reference to Christianity and Judaism, there really should not be strife.

@bschoen2008 The Qur'an does not condone violence of any kind, nor does it condone killing another person. In fact it outright says violence and killing is a crime. Also, why would God ask us to kill his greatest creation? The answer is that he wouldn't. In God's eyes we are all the same, we were all made by him, so anyone that really thinks that killing another person is within the religion is absolutely wrong. Read the Qur'an and you'd see for yourself. And not some shitty translation one.

@mohsenaltyar unfortunately...they are. there has ALWAYS been war, strife, intolerance and hatred between the three religions. thats pretty much what the Crusades were about (obviously just a surface reference, but yeah) the only thing thats changed is how barbaric the hatred became. the thing is, all three descend from the same man, the one they all call "Father Abraham". everyone wants to own the Holy Land, but they all forget...GOD owns the Holy Land-not Man.
