  • IF The Gospel of Caesar Augustus tells that he was born from a virgin. Should I approach it with an open mind?

  • @Dzonrid No. Approach it with evidence. Why is that so hard for people to figure out?

  • @drcraigvideos Dr Craig said that one should approach NT Gospels with an open mind. The evidence of the existence of Caesar Augustus (outside the gospel) is obvious. You cannot say the same about Jesus of Nazareth.

  • @Dzonrid Why not? No reputable historian would say that there is no historical evidence for Jesus. Drop the Christ Myth junk and embrace reality: watch?v=zdqJyk-dtLs

  • Probably WLC's best video I've seen. I'm sure most atheists and naturalists would never have the patience to sit through this almost two-hour interview.

  • @BachScholar No kidding.

  • @BachScholar

    Well, at least one did.

  • May God Bless You Both John Ankerberg and William Lane Craig for doing what you do!

thank you for teaching me the true Christian Faith, thank you so much!!!

    God Bless You!!!

  • @Dzonrid way to only watch the first minute-and-a-half of the video >_>

  • If we were to discuss an event that happened 4000 yrs ago, we would say, "This happened 2000 BC, or BCE. If we wanted to discuss an event of 1500 yrs ago, we'd say such and such took place 500 AD, or CE.

To say Jesus never existed, is to imply that the entire world was universally duped into counting time based around the life of someone who was never here. If thats what you believe, I'm certain the only thing left to convince you is hell fire. So just be patient, your proof is coming.

  • Hi, Dzonrid. There IS evidence for Jesus both in and outside of the gospels. Non-biblical sources referring to Christ and his followers include Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Tacitus, and Seutonius. And don't forget that by 64 A.D. - only 30 years after Jesus died - emperor Nero was already burning Christians in his garden; Christians who followed Christus, who according to Tacitus "suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus."

  • @95TurboSol its from 2001 afterall.

  • @BachScholar yeah and you know why? because of the first 2 minutes!! well obviously if i am to read harry potter with an open mind and be able to convince myself that it might happen then yeah i could believe in harry potter! no proof needed! but since for religion against science, there needs to be science in the picture to contradicts it.. and THERE IS science and it works, then yeah i can deduce that reading it with "open mind" as he intened will make you believe.. even if its all bull!

  • @Dzonrid To answer your first question, sure! I'd like to see any other miracle claim that has early, multiple independent eyewitness testimony by people (including former skeptics) whose lives were transformed by that event to the point that they were willing to die rather than recant their testimony.

  • @impactproformance LOL, good stuff!

  • WLC Rocks!
