@hmmhmm111 youre completely right. anyone who thinks they sold out should listen to their discography in order. as you go along, you can hear tom maturing, his voice becoming cleaner, and more accessible to more people. he didn't do this to get more fans, but rather as a reflection of himself growing up. white crosse, their most commercial sounding and my least favorite album as a whole, was also the bands frist album after tom had a kid. That'd calm anyone down from bein an angry kid

anyone ever thought that they didn't sell out and just had a change cause they felt like it? maybe tom just felt like writing the new songs however he wanted? shouldn't that therefore make it more punk, that he wrote songs how he felt not caring if it pissed off people (the people being the old fans)

think about it. he's been making music for a substantial amount of time. wouldnt you think he, as a human, would change?

I look at Against Me! like I look at an old girlfriend after a really bad breakup. Everything they do just reminds me of how special they used to be and the rage I feel at where they are now.
