Entity Framework 4 CTP 4 makes it possible to code the classes to hold the data first, test the application and then eventually go and build the database. This feature is being demonstrated in the context of an asp.net mvc 3 application.

  • cool, do you have planning to show foreign key relations, inheritance, many to many relations and how the db will accept model change policy i mean Policy settings? This was a good quick start though.

  • I presume if you go into SQL Server Management Studio and view the Customers table, you will see those 2 records?.

  • I've done step by step. Index.cshtml has to be saved in /View/Customer folder, otherwise it shows error.

  • How do you annotate an EF entity class that is generated automatically ? In specific, how does one create metadata classes so that annotations can be decorated ? Any suggestions ?
